Public Works Projects

This component is designed to construct or rehabilitate community-prioritized infrastructure projects, in addition to generating much needed short-term employment for economically disadvantaged community members. The following activities are carried out under this component: • Producing project designs • Identifying construction companies to implement rehabilitation and construction works through tender process, • Build or rehabilitate community-prioritized infrastructure, • Generate short-term employment for vulnerable members -- skilled and semi-skilled labor in PWP technical activities, and • Employ vulnerable community members on each project.
